QUASAR series are broadband pulsed power amplifier systems capable of 200W CW to fully integrated systems up to 4KW CW, operating from 20 to 1000MHz. All QUASAR series are remote controlled and monitored via RS422 or RS232 (standard on all units).

The photo below shows a QUASAR-400U. A major feature of the system is that each QUASAR can be installed or uninstalled from the front by using a unique proprietary plug-in architecture. A patented linearizing circuit is employed to maintain excellent broadband linearity and efficiency. The QUASAR is self protected, and can be addressed remotely via RS422 or RS232. A QUASAR can be disabled or gain controlled via the RS422/RS232 port, the software configuration enables the user to operate commands for controlling or monitoring the QUASAR. A QUASAR system can also be upgraded to higher powers of up to 4KW by adding more QUASARs or replaced with another QUASAR operating in a different frequency range.
