SATURN series are broadband pulsed power amplifier systems capable of up to 16KW, operating in the UHF frequency range of 100 to 500MHz. The SATURN amplifier systems consists of "satellite units" named HYPERION. As the photo shows, the SATURN 8 system is made of one (8) HYPERION. Each HYPERION is capable of 1.3 KW, thus a SATURN4/b can be made from a combinations of four (4) HYPERION.
Below on the left - SATURN8 9KW pulse, 100 to 400 MHz showing the eight (8) HYPERION units.
Another version like the SATURN4/b is below on the right - 270 to 430 MHz, 4KW pulse uses the basic HYPERION module as the main element.
